To support women’s and girls’ menstrual health, dignity and well-being, YAWI carried out a Menstrual Hygiene Management initiative. The project’s main goals were to raise awareness, educate communities about menstrual hygiene and expand access to sanitary products.

Through safe conversations and community engagement, the program improved health outcomes, reduced stigma and empowered women and girls to fully participate in school and community life.
