The Building Futures Project by YAWI is dedicated to empowering adolescent mothers and young girls aged 13 to 30 years in all their diversities. The project advances Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and provides vocational training opportunities to help young women build independent and sustainable futures.

Through this initiative, YAWI works to reduce the stigma associated with teenage pregnancy, strengthen parenting skills and ensure young mothers receive the support, knowledge, and opportunities they need to thrive. The project also advocates for improved and youth-friendly health service delivery, while actively working to combat Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in communities.

By combining education, skills development, advocacy and community engagement, the Building Futures Project creates safe spaces where adolescent mothers and young girls can regain confidence, access essential services, and shape brighter futures for themselves and their children.
