This project aims to increase the number of women in leadership and decision-making roles at all levels, from the community to higher offices, whether appointed or elected. Community awareness campaigns are organized, women’s participation in elections is encouraged, and the nomination of women for leadership positions is promoted through civic education. Through advocacy, regressive social norms and cultural practices that obstruct transformative women’s leadership and gender equality are challenged.
